Non-South African travellers

If you are a non-South African national with a legal stay in South Africa, and you need a visa for Denmark, please submit proof for your legal stay (i.e. copy of visa stamp for residence permit) along with the visa application.

Your residence permit for South Africa must be valid 3 months after your return from the Schengen area.

Please note that applications with a South African Document for Travel Purposes (black passport), will most likely be forwarded to the Danish Immigration Service for processing.

When applying from one of the countries side accredited to the Embassy

Applicants residing legally in the below countries can apply for a Danish Schengen visa at the embassies listed below. Note that visas for Greenland and the Faroe Islands can only be issued by the Danish Consulate General in Dubai.

Angola

Mozambique
