Practical information

If you are a South African citizen and wish to travel to Denmark or Iceland for 90 days or less, you need a visa no matter whether you want to go for business, tourism, cultural reasons or just to visit family and friends. The visas are processed by the Royal Danish Embassy, Nairobi.

The Embassy’s processing time in visa cases is currently about 15 days.

The Danish Mission recommends that you do not buy a plane ticket before your visa has been approved.
