The Trade Council has local knowledge and network in South Africa, which is used to accommodate Danish companies interested in expanding or entering the South African market. The mission for the Trade Council is to support Danish export in South Africa, therefore we assists with all assignments from Danish companies that can support them in succeeding in South Africa.

The Trade Council has five full time employees and is located in Pretoria at the Royal Danish Embassy. However, the embassy is also accredited to Angola, Botswana, eSwatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, and Zimbabwe, and the Trade Council can therefore also assist in these markets.
The standard fee of services from the Danish Trade Council is DKK 780.00 per hour. If you are a small or a medium sized company you can receive a subsidy by applying for the Trade Council’s financial support programmes: Export Sparring, Grow, Vitus, or The Strategic Business Alliances program.
