The Trade Council has local knowledge and network in South Africa, which is used to accommodate Danish companies interested in expanding or entering the South African market. The mission for the Trade Council is to support Danish eksport in South Africa, therefore we assists with all assignments from Danish companies that can support them in succeeding in South Africa.

The Trade Council has six full time employees and is located in Pretoria at the Danish Embassy. However, the embassy is also accredited to Angola, Botswana, eSwatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, and Zimbabwe, and the Trade Council can therefore also assist in these markets.

The standard fee of services from the Danish Trade Council is DKK 995.00 per hour. If you are a small or a medium sized company you can receive a subsidy by applying for the Trade Council’s financial support ptogrammes; Export Sparring, Grow, Vitus, or The strategic business alliances program.
