Practical information

If you are a South African citizen and wish to travel to Denmark or Iceland for 90 days or less, you need a visa no matter whether you want to go for business, tourism, cultural reasons or just to visit family and friends.

Due to the current high number of visa applications for Denmark and Iceland applicants must expect a longer waiting time to hand in applications at VFS, and longer processing time.

The current processing time is approximately 30 days (subject to change). Also please note that business applications are prioritized.
